School group leaders often set the tone and culture for not only the organization, but often the entire school. The first annual Presidents Summit is designed to connect, build, and equip high school organization chapter presidents to promote strong organization and school cultures, a healthy view of leadership, and an opportunity for advanced leadership coaching for high achieving individuals.

Core Focuses

1. Connect

High school seniors who hold leadership positions, such as organization presidents, often find themselves in a unique and sometimes isolating position as a high performer compared to their peers. For many, this may be the first time they’re surrounded by peers who inspire and motivate them on a similar level.

Sponsors will also have the opportunity to interact with some of the state’s top talent in their class over a networking meal.

2. Build

Chapter presidents hold an important position in school systems, yet they are still early in their leadership careers. Delegates will learn new leadership principles and levels of self awareness through workshops on topics like Leadership vs Management, using Gallup Strengths, and how to build trust in relationships

3. Equip

Finally, delegates will be equipped with specific tools and skills for their upcoming year including learning effective meeting strategies, tech tools to communicate with their team, and resources for event planning

This conference isn’t just an event; it’s a chance to build a community of high-performing, driven young leaders who can support and inspire each other to achieve even greater things. By participating, these students will gain a powerful reminder that they’re not alone on their journey and that their potential is limitless when fueled by the strength of a like-minded network.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is invited?

We invite all presidents of member-driven organizations such as HOSA, FCCLA, FFA, FBLA, DECA, Skills, 4H, Student Council, EdRising, Boy Scouts/Girls Scouts, and more. If a president is not able to attend, the organization’s Vice President may fill in.

What if we need to leave early?

That's okay! We understand it may be important for some students to return to school at a specific time. We ask that students depart during break.

Can chaperones attend?

Yes, school chaperones and administrators are welcome to attend. We will have a designated quiet space with wifi and electrical outlets for those who would like to work. They are welcome to join us in the sessions. If chaperones plan on eating with us, they must purchase a meal ticket in registration.

Are chaperones required?
Nope! We trust this group of students and recognize many could sign up for and drive themselves personally to this event.
We have a long drive. Can we stay?
Yes, we can absolutely accommodate travelers who wish to stay the night before or after at The Leadership Center and likely will design additional workshops if more than 5 students stay!
