D4LC Program Manager

Maile is an ultra runner (with a favorite distance of 50 miles), quail breeder, bad taxidermy fanatic and began her professional speaking career at just 15 years old traveling to the neighboring schools within her permitted driving radius and has since served as an Executive Director for 20 years. She brings incredible wisdom, outrageous energy, and a closing message that inspires crowds of all ages.

Abby is an entrepreneur, classic vehicle enthusiast, photographer, aunt of 6 and is irrationally passionate about squirrels. Her addiction to productivity and always giving the “best” makes her perfect for identifying where people and teams can improve. Groups find her to be extremely relatable, realistic, and approachable, even in bright red pants.

As a Mad Scientist with The Edgerton Explorit Center where he teaches about science (aka gets to blow things up) and our in-house bee expert, John Boeder is our team nerd who just happens to have a background in Ag Education and leads a staff of over 20 from high school aged to adults, so you could say he knows a thing or two, because he's seen a thing or two.

Kurt pulls his leadership theories from the best of the best: our Navy Seals and war heroes. In another life though, Kurt would be a dad-joke musical comedy act. In the professional world, he has served as a high school Agricultural Education teacher for over 30 years.

Samuel started as an intern in the summer of 2024. Originating from the Republic of the Congo as an elementary school teacher, Samuel excels at getting the rooms attention with his humor, zest for life, and maybe a little bit because of his accent.

Ashley also excels in connection, but more out of force having lived in 13 places by the time she was 22. We consider her one of America's superheroes as an Agriculture Education teacher. She excels at reading people and teams - nothing gets past her!
